Sundays |
|
|
Sunday
mornings at Daybreak are designed to be comfortable, even if it's
been a while since you've been to church. Come as you are
really.
No matter who you are, what your background is, or where you are in
your spiritual journey, we'd like to offer you encouragement along
the way.
On
Sundays, it's our sincere desire that you will experience a service
that is thought provoking, sometimes challenging, and definitely
hopeful. Your children will love our programs where committed workers
provide a fun and safe place to learn about God while you enjoy
the service. Our band is amazing and we use drama and video clips to help you connect
the dots between the bible and real life.
After the service, people
stick around to talk, have a cup of coffee, and maybe a donut or
bagel. It's a great time to meet new people and catch up with friends.
Daybreak
Community Church meets every Sunday, 10AM, in the auditorium at
Farmwell Station Middle School, located at 44281 Gloucester Parkway,
Ashburn, Virginia.

Adventureland |
|
|
There
is no greater adventure than playing a part in a child's journey of
faith. The mission of Daybreak's Children's Ministry Team is to provide
a creative, relational, child-centered environment, which would open
a gateway for bringing kids and their families to God thru Jesus Christ.
This
year's curriculum, God's Big Picture, takes students in preschool
thru fifth grade through a majestic gallery of the major characters
and themes of the bible. Because children learn in diverse ways,
our Adventureland time together includes terrific kid involving
ways to present the bible story, including active games, creative
art activities, and age-appropriate small groups.
This
may be the most fun you've ever had in church!
Here
are some guidelines which will enable your child to get the most
out of their time in Adventureland on Sunday:
|
|
|
|
- Kids
will be dismissed from service to Adventureland before the start
of the Sunday morning message.
- Kids
are welcome to bring their friends, their enthusiasm, and their
energy to Adventureland, but please leave toys at home.
- Encourage
kids to use the bathroom before the service
(We don't want any one missing any fun stuff!)
- Please
remember to pick up your child promptly at the end of service.
- Please
feel free to visit or observe our program at any time.

Student
Ministries |
|
|
Daybreak
Student Ministry is student-led and adult-supported. That means that
our student leaders have their hands in every aspect of the program,
from planning ENCOUNTER (our student-led worship service) to deciding
what community service and big events we schedule. It also means that
we depend on the investment of a lot of adult volunteers, from those
who teach class and lead small groups, to those who serve as sponsors
for mission trips or summer camp. That winning combination of students
and adults, working together, is what sets us apart from a lot of
church youth groups. For more information about whats going
on for students at Daybreak, contact us at info@daybreak.org.
Middle School: The Middle School Ministry provides opportunities
for students in 6th through 8th grade to encounter Christ and connect
with other students through regularly scheduled activities such as
our monthly ENCOUNTER student service, and other fun-filled monthly
events.
High
School: The High School Ministry brings together high school
students in an effort to discover the impact of having a relationship
with God on every aspect of their life. Students seek to reach up,
reach in, and reach out through a variety of scheduled ministry
opportunities such as our monthly ENCOUNTER student service, small
groups, community service, as well as a variety of fun and entertaining
events.

Small
Groups |
|
|
What
exactly is a small group? For many people at Daybreak, small groups
are the first step beyond a Sunday morning service. In small groups
they find great friendships, lots of encouragement and a safe place
to ask questions and discuss spiritual issues. On a practical level,
a small group could be defined as a group of 6-12 people who meet
every other week to enjoy each other's company, share challenges and
successes, and figure out how the Bible applies to everyday life.
Daybreak has a variety of groups that meet at different times and
places during the week, with options for men's, women's, coed groups,
as well as for middle and high school students.
