About Us
at Daybreak Community Church
Who We Are
Daybreak Community Church is a community of followers of Jesus Christ, committed to live by faith, and to be a voice of hope to the Ashburn community and beyond. Whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper, you can find a home here.
What We Do
We are committed to loving and serving our community. Over the past 10 years, we have reached out in compassion to serve:
- The Loudoun Holiday Coalition
- Loudoun Abused Women's Shelter - L.A.W.S.
- Christmas in April
- Leukemia Walk
- American Cancer Society, Relay for Life.
- Various individuals and families through our “helping hand” fund
- Mission trips inside and outside the US
The Daybreak Story
After serving Daybreak as the founder and Senior Pastor for more than five years, Robby Pitt moved to Vermont in 1999 to launch another church start, which Daybreak sponsors.
Alex York is now our Senior Pastor,
Pete Cowett is our Music Director, Debbie Bealby is our Bookeeper and Mary Adkins is our volunteer graphic designer and webmaster.
These staff members serve to equip and encourage our volunteers, who actually do the bulk of the ministry at Daybreak.
