Pastor: Alex York

I came to Daybreak in November of 1999 after serving on staff at a similar church in Springfield, Virginia for 7 years. As the Pastor of Daybreak, I get to play a role in the spiritual journeys of individuals and the church as a whole. It could be someone who's been a skeptic for a while, now opening their mind to the possibility that there really is a God who cares about them; it could be someone who's been a Christ-follower for years, but for the first time recognizes that God is working through them to help others.

Music Leader: Pete Cowett

My family has been a part of Daybreak since June of 1998. The best part of my job as Music Leader is seeing the effect the music has on people in the congregation, and watching individual artists in the band improve in attitude, skill, and spiritual growth.

Youth Director: Ron Adkins

Ron has been involved in Daybreak since 2001 with his wife and 4 children and has been participating as Daybreak's Youth Director since 2006. For questions, please feel free to contact him at Ron@Daybreak.org

The Daybreak Story

After serving Daybreak as the founder and Senior Pastor for more than five years, Robby Pitt moved to Vermont in 1999 to launch another church start, which Daybreak sponsors.

Alex York is now our Senior Pastor, Pete Cowett is our Music Director, Debbie Bealby is our Bookeeper and Mary Adkins is our volunteer graphic designer and webmaster.

These staff members serve to equip and encourage our volunteers, who actually do the bulk of the ministry at Daybreak.
